Automated Intelligence Briefings: From 500 Sources to One Email
How Prioris distills hundreds of daily intelligence items into a personalized briefing that takes 5 minutes to read — using VoI scoring, LLM summarization, and feedback learning.
Every morning at 06:30, Prioris delivers a personalized intelligence briefing. It contains the 10 highest Value-of-Information items from the past 24 hours across your monitored domains, each with a one-paragraph summary explaining why it matters to you specifically.
Behind that simple email is a pipeline that processes hundreds of items overnight.
The daily pipeline
The pipeline runs at 05:00 daily in four stages:
Stage 1: Ingest. All 500+ sources are polled for new items. RSS feeds, API endpoints, and scrapers run concurrently with error isolation — a failing source never blocks the pipeline. Items are deduplicated against the existing knowledge base.
Stage 2: Intelligence. Every new item receives relevance scoring, category classification, and a time-to-live estimate. Items scoring above the threshold are embedded in a 768-dimensional vector space for semantic search and cross-domain connection.
Stage 3: Graph. High-scoring items are analyzed for entity mentions, relationship extraction, and contradiction detection against existing items. The knowledge graph grows with every run.
Stage 4: Digest. The top items are selected by personalized VoI score (combining universal relevance with user-specific domain weights and pending decisions). An LLM generates one-paragraph summaries tailored to the user's context. The email is assembled and sent.
Personalization without creepiness
Prioris personalization is transparent and user-controlled. Your profile contains domain weights (how much you care about each of the 26 domains) and pending decisions (specific questions you need intelligence for). Both are visible and editable.
There is no behavioral tracking beyond what you explicitly provide. If you read an item, the system learns you found it valuable. If you ignore it, the system notes it was less relevant. This feedback updates your domain weights — gradually, transparently, and reversibly.
Quality over quantity
The goal is not to send more information. It is to send better information. Ten items that change how you think about a decision are worth more than a hundred items that confirm what you already know.
VoI scoring ensures that the briefing prioritizes items with genuine decision impact over items that are merely interesting. Novelty scoring prevents the same story from appearing in multiple forms. Source reliability weighting ensures that unverified claims do not crowd out authoritative sources.
The result: a 5-minute read that replaces hours of manual scanning across dozens of sources and domains.
